Team Associated RB10 Retro Factory Team Kit

The Associated Team Associated RB10 Retro Factory Team Kit, part number AS90060, is a 1:10 electric 2WD off-road buggy kit combining retro styling with B5-based engineering. Supplied for user assembly, it features a rear-motor layout and a Retro Bronze anodised aluminium tub chassis, front nose plate and motor plate, with grey moulded plastics throughout. The kit includes an authentic retro Viper body, a high-downforce 5.5-inch retro wing and 12mm hex dish wheels; tyres are not included.

The chassis is built around a B5 rear-motor Stealth transmission with rear CVA driveshafts and a sealed B5 ball differential using a 2.6:1 internal gear ratio. Kashima-coated 13mm big-bore coil-over shocks support the suspension, while steel turnbuckles provide adjustable camber and front toe-in. Vertical ball ends allow roll-centre adjustments at the front and rear, and the adjustable V2 slipper system gives further scope for setup changes. Full ball bearings and metric hardware are included.

HPI Stage-D10 Mustang

The HPI Stage-D10 Ford Mustang GT RTR S650 – VGJR (HPI-161004) is a 1/10 scale, rear-wheel-drive Ready-to-Run drift car with a pre-finished Ford Mustang RTR Spec-5 FD bodyshell. Representing Vaughn Gittin Jr’s Formula Drift-inspired car, this Stage-D10 combines a detailed 5-piece polycarbonate body with replica Aero-5 wheels, removable rear aerodiscs and a full LED lighting system. The brushed RTR equipment provides a manageable starting point for learning throttle control, transitions and RWD drifting, while the chassis offers extensive adjustment for drivers who want to develop their setup over time.

Its purpose-built drift platform includes a 20T brushed 540 motor, 60A ESC, water-resistant steering servo and D-Box3 Lite drift gyro. Gyro gain can be adjusted from the fourth channel of the TF-51 transmitter, while the RF-51 receiver includes a waterproof silicone inner jacket, failsafe and a dedicated LED connection. Headlights, grille lights, tail lights and brake lights can be selected between on, off and daylight-running modes directly from the transmitter.

The Stage-D10 is designed for progression rather than a single fixed setup. Adjustable camber, toe, roll centre, camber gain and Ackermann geometry let you refine the steering and suspension response. The wheelbase can be changed between 246 mm and 264 mm, and the wheel hex spacing can be increased by 1 mm or 2 mm. Shorty battery mounting positions, adjustable gearbox placement and more than 100 motor positions provide considerable scope for experimenting with chassis balance and rear weight distribution. Threaded oil-filled coilover shocks, metal-shielded bearings and a sealed composite geared differential complete the practical drift-focused specification.
